How do I get the best results from the St.Tropez tanning kit?
Great question! Our tanning kit is designed to give you all the essentials needed for the perfect glow. The secret to a streak-free tan is in the skin prep! Before you apply the Classic Mousse (or any tan!) ensure you have the perfect canvas- 24 hours before we recommend exfoliating, shaving (if you wish to do so) and moisturising skin to ensure a build-up free, hydrated base for your tan application. Before tan application (24 hours later) a top tip is prior to application moisturise dry areas such as knees and ankles to ensure an even result. On tan application use a mitt or body brush, apply thin even layers and blend evenly in circular motions.For an even, streak-free finish apply in circular motions with a mitt on clean, dry skin for full coverage; wash hands immediately after application.
What order should I apply products in the kit?
We recommend you prep skin 24 hours prior to using the self-tan. Then 24 hours later use the Mitt or Body brush to apply the Classic Mousse in circular motions. After allowing 8 hours for the tan to develop, rinse off to reveal your natural-looking medium result.
Can I use the kit on face and body?
While our products can be used across face and body, we recommend use of our expert designed face products for face and body products for body. Our mousses are a great body option but for face we recommend our Purity Face Mist, Tan Tonic Drops or Sunlit Skin for a natural-looking, non-pore blocking glow.
Is the kit vegan?
Yes vegan and PETA certified cruelty free.
How long between application steps?
Great question! 24 hours before tan application we recommend starting your skin prep. After 24 hours, the tan application itself takes a matter of minutes! Start with a minute or so to ensure you’ve prepped your skin with moisturiser on dry areas, then you are ready to apply. Using our expert tools of our Luxe Mitt or Body Brush apply mousse in circular motions and blend. Wait approx 5-10 minutes for the tan to fully dry then allow to develop for the full 8 hours, Finally rinse to reveal your flawless natural-looking result.
